Happy holidays

These holidays have been absolutely exciting! Christmas is clearly one of my favorite times of the year and spending it with my family was so fantastic! Definitely another year to remember! Immediately after Christmas day my parents decided to travel so I had to prepare everything very quickly and so I had no time to postL anyway, here I am in my hotel room in Madrid, finally posting to you! This is a look that I wore in Lisbon just before coming here! Hope you like it! :)

Estas férias estão a ser ótimas! O Natal é claramente uma das minhas épocas favoritas e passa-lo com a minha família foi fantástico! Definitivamente outro ano para recordar! Imediatamente a seguir ao Natal os meus pais decidiram viajar por isso tive que preparar tudo a correr e então não tive tempo para postarL de qualquer forma, aqui estou eu no meu hotel em Madrid a escrever-vos! Estas fotos foram tiradas em Lisboa mesmo antes de vir para cá! Espero que gostem! :)

Around our Christmas Tree

Here I am, in my hometown, ready for (what we’re all hoping will be) a wonderful Christmas! Yesterday, before leaving my house, while making all these presents and even more fit into my car I felt already a little nostalgic about this marvelous Pre-Christmas time I spent with Miguel and my friends. I had such a magical time in Lisbon before coming here! So I decided to take some pictures of my home’s Christmas tree around which we spent such fun times! Now we’re all here at my Grandma’s house, where my gigantic family and I are going to spend Christmas Eve and Day! Hope you are all super feeling the Christmas spirit to make the most out of this season!

Aqui estou eu, na cidade onde nasci, preparada para aquilo que (esperamos todos) será um maravilhoso Natal! Ontem, antes de vir para cá comecei a ficar um bocadinho nostálgica pelo fim destes maravilhosos dias que antecedem o Natal, passados com o Miguel e com amigos. Foram dias tão perfeitos em Lisboa antes de vir para cá! Por isso decidi tirar algumas fotos à árvore de Natal da minha casa à volta da qual passamos momentos tão divertidos! Agora estamos todos na casa da minha Avó, onde a minha família gigante e eu vamos passar a Consoada e o dia de Natal! Espero que estejam todos em modo super Natalício para aproveitar ao máximo os dias que seguem!

Colored Owl

Color blocking and pattern mixing have lately become my favorites when it comes to putting together a new look! But for some reason, on a daily bases, I always chose neutrals! It’s probably because they make me feel more comfortable and confident!  Anyway, I couldn’t resist this sweater so I had to risk it! Hope you like it!

These super cold days got me thinking about Winter coats! Probably you already noticed but I love big, warm coats and with winter coming so fast it really is time to pull out the big guns (or should I say warmers)! Cold Paradise

I love this part of the year! These cold, cold days when you get to wear the big coats, scarfs, gloves and just anything else you can find to protect you from the weather! And these boots, I just can’t get enough! I’m loving them right now!

Adoro esta parte do ano! Estes dias super frios quando usamos os grandes casacos, cachecóis, e luvas e tudo o resto que se possa encontrar para nos proteger da temperatura! E estas botas, não me consigo fartar delas! Adoro-as!

I’ve been loving this Mango coat lately! It just looks amazing with anything and it has such a vintage look! Also, I’m getting more and more excited about Christmas!! I’ve already started my gift hunting!! Seriously! Best time of the year!!

Tenho andado a adorar este casaco da Mango! Fica giríssimo com tudo e tem um ar super vintage! Cada vez estou mais entusiasmada com o Natal!! Já comecei as minhas compras de presentes!! A sério! É a melhor época do ano!!

Blurred winter

This has been the rainiest week I can remember!! But I almost don’t mind because I’m such in the Christmas spirit that it makes me enjoy these rainy days! Anyway, Miguel and I had to face the weather and go outside to shot some pictures! We took this opportunity to shoot something different! I think this blurred effect brings such a cold, winterly atmosphere to the pictures! I loved the final result! What do you think?

Esta foi a semana mais chuvosa de sempre!! Mas eu quase não me importo porque estou tão no espirito Natalício que até gosto dos dias assim! De qualquer forma, o Miguel e eu tínhamos que enfrentar a chuva e tirar fotos! Então, aproveitamos para testar um estilo diferente! O efeito desfocado dá um ar super frio e invernoso às imagens! Vintage Gucci

After a busy week full of work and a test to prepare for, I took the Saturday afternoon off!! Shot some pictures, had some great tea and enjoyed the almost Winterish atmosphere of a cold, rainy day! Also, I took the day to wear this vintage Gucci bag! The first Gucci bag my Dad offered to my Mum!! I rarely wear little bags, but for today’s afternoon plans, this was absolutely perfect!!:) Hope you like it!

Depois de uma semana cheia de trabalho e com um teste para me preparar, tirei a tarde de Sábado para descansar!! Tirei fotos, bebi um óptimo chá e aproveitei os ares de Inverno de um dia frio e chuvoso! Aproveitei ainda para usar esta mala vintage da Gucci! Foi a primeira mala da Gucci que o meu Pai deu à minha Mãe!! Raramente uso malas pequenas, mas para os planos desta tarde , ela era absolutamente perfeita!!:) Espero que gostem!

Little reindeers

I’ve always loved full skirts!! It’s just so feminine and cute! This one was perfect to match my cashmere pullover! Did you notice the little reindeers in the pullover! Yes, I am already feeling very, very Christmassy! May the happiest, most magical part of the year begin!!

Dark layering

It’s been so cold lately! And I’ve been super excited to get back to wearing warm coats and layers as you all know! So this last week has been all about that, also the week was filled with crazy, crazy days because I got super sick! Anyway I am feeling much, much better:)  full of energy to face the next cold times!

Tem estado tanto frio nestes últimos dias! E eu tenho andado super entusiasmada por voltar a usar casacos quentes e sobrepor peças de roupa! Esta última semana foi cheia disso, foi também cheia de dias loucos porque fiquei super doente! De qualquer forma, já me sinto muito melhor:) pronta para enfrentar os tempos de frio que se seguem!

Happy weekend

It’s been a crazy week so far! Tests started and I’m feeling so busy with all the university work!! But I always try my best to organize my week in a way that allows me to take the weekend out and just really enjoy it!!:) Long afternoons watching a good movie and drinking tea with the cold and rainy weather outside are my definition of a good fall weekend, but I have the best boyfriend that forces me to spend the afternoon outside and appreciate every little bit of the remaining sun!

Tem sido uma semana de loucos! Começaram os testes e tenho andado super ocupada com todo o trabalho da faculdade!!  Mas tento sempre organizar a minha semana de forma a poder aproveitar o fim-de-semana para tirar algum tempo para mim e descansar!!:) Para mim longas tardes a ver um filme com um bom chá são a definição de um bom fim-de-semana de outono, mas tenho o melhor namorado que me obriga a sair de casa para aproveitar todos os bocadinhos de sol que ainda restam!

Today it rained so much!! But lucky me:) I got these photos with the only little bit of sun that came outside!! Anyway, I am back to my normal self and I am actually also back to enjoying fall!! Bad week is over and a new week just started:) Hope we all enjoy it!

Autumn sunsets

These last days haven’t been the best ones! Full of rain and work to get done.. I hate when I don’t even have time to take care of myself and that’s when I start feeling bored and that brings more bad things!! Not cool!! It’s a vicious cycle! Don’t you feel it too? Well, anyway it’s almost weekend and so we must all smile!!

Estes últimos dias não têm sido os melhores! Cheios de chuva e trabalho para fazer.. Detesto quando deixo de ter tempo para mim e é aí que começo a ficar aborrecida e isso só traz coisas piores! Nada divertido!! É super um ciclo vicioso! Não vos acontece o mesmo? Bem, de qualquer forma já é quase fim-de-semana e por isso temos todos que ficar muito contentinhos!!

Warming up wardrobe

The weather finally changed!! It’s officially winter time!! Yes, not fall, but winter! One week I was still going to the beach and the other I was wearing rain boots and umbrellas! The bright side is we can layer our favorite clothes and we get to wear fur!! Which I must say I love!! Ahahah! Happy Week everyone!:)

O tempo finalmente mudou!! É oficialmente inverno!! Sim, não é outono mas inverno! Numa semana ainda estava a ir À praia e na outra estava de galochas e guarda-chuva! A parte positiva é que já podemos sobrepor as nossas peças favoritas e podemos usar pêlo!! Que eu adoro! Ahahah! Boa semana!:)

Fashion series

I know it’s been a week, but some of you asked me to share what was my favorite LisbonFW show! And so I will!

My friends all know that one of my favorite Portuguese designer is Miguel Vieira! I just love his style and work! I’m a huge fan and this year he had a big surprise for us! After being elected the best Portuguese Fashion Designer he decided to bring a new light and color to his amazing collection! Check it out in the following pictures together with my look!!

I am so sorry! I really have neglected my blog during these last few days! I have and I hate it!  I hate being such a long time without posting!! I was super sick, I mean SUPER!! And then Lisbon Fashion Week came... Well, time wasn’t my best friend at all! And I for sure didn’t want to show you my terrible face!! :p  Anyway, I am back! Full power!! Ahahah!

Desculpem, desculpem, desculpem! Negligenciei mesmo o blog nos últimos dias! Odeio! Odeio estar tanto tempo sem postar! Estive super doente, SUPER mesmo!! E depois veio a Lisbon Fashion Week... Conclusão, o tempo não tem sido muito meu amigo! E certamente que não vos ia mostrar a minha cara de doente!! :p Mas estou de volta!! Cheia de energia!! Ahahah!

Cheerleading

I love this sweater!! I think it gives such a sportive, edgy look!! It almost reminds me of the American cheerleaders! It can turn any chic outfit into something more casual to wear on your everyday life! It also keeps you warm, which is great considering the temperature changes we’ve been felling throughout the day!! On top of everything, it has the letter M and everyone knows how much I love that!!:)) Hope you like this look!!

Confused seasons

I know I promised that I would start to welcome fall enthusiastically, but it’s not my fault! The weather is just so summery! Today the temperature was around the 30 degrees!!  Can you believe?  I just regret not spending my afternoon at the beach!! I think the only way to feel a little more like fall is to wear darker colors! Right? I hope you all had an amazing weekend!

Eu sei que prometi começar a dar as boas vindas ao outono, mas a culpa não é minha! O tempo está tão veranil! A temperatura hoje esteve nos 30 graus!! Dá para acreditar? Só me arrependo de não ter passado a tarde na praia!! A unica forma de entrar um bocadinho mais no outono é usar cores mais escuras! certo? Espero que tenham todos tido um ótimo fim-de-semana!

Colors and patterns

Just a very quick post to keep you all updated!! I’m sorry about how long I’ve been without posting! These last two weeks have been highly about university!! I am still getting used to this old way of life!! My normal self will be back very soon!!:)

Warm layers

I am still trying to do a soft transition to fall!! Wearing warm layers on top keeps you warm enough and allows you to still wear your bare legs!! (I am seriously having a bad time saying hello to collants!)  Anyway, the sun shined today, so I’m happy!!:) Hope you all have had an amazing weekend!  

Ainda estou a tentar a fazer uma transição suave para o outono!! Usar partes de cima mais quentes ainda nos permite usar calções!! Changing seasons

So, finally, here it is!! My first fall look! Can’t believe I am wearing a trench coat!! Here in Lisbon the weather changed literally from one day to the other!! Last days of Summer

These pictures were taken in the last day of summer!! Which was also, here in Lisbon, the last day of sun!! Literally!! Fall started and so started the rain too!! I will show you my warmer looks sooner than I was expecting!! :( Also, this is my 100^th post!! Can’t believe it!! So I want to thank all of you who have joined me in this journey!! Blue gardens

Yesterday was my birthday and so it was a very, very busy day. Between classes and spending time with friends and family it was hard to keep you all updated! Anyway, today I’m back to my normal self! Only one year older :/ ahahah! These pictures were shot a little too late, it was almost night and so the lighting really isn’t perfect... Nevertheless I hope you can get a good idea of the look I wore!

Ontem foi o meu aniversário e portanto foi um dia muito, muito cheio. Entre aulas e estar com os amigos e família foi difícil manter-vos a todos atualizados! De qualquer forma, hoje já estou de volta ao meu estado normal! Só que um ano mais velha :/ ahahah!
