Golden Christmas

 It’s finally Christmas eve! Can’t even believe it! I edited this post at the speed of light because I’ve been helping and shopping all day and now everyone’s waiting to start having dinner!

I really just want to wish you a very very merry Christmas, may all your craziest dreams come true and most importantly I hope you can be with the ones you truly love! I feel very blessed for having you guys in my life and wish you all the very best :) See you tomorrow!

Gift Wrapping

Christmas time is always so exciting for me that this year I decided to share some pictures with you! I rarely stay at home during these three days before Christmas because I arrive to my hometown and my Mum and I start running around to get everything ready in time for the 24th! But I really wanted to blog everyday this season and although it is hard during the beginning of December because of university, now that I am on a vacation I totally felt like I should do it!

I spent last evening in Lisbon with Miguel wrapping some gifts that were going to stay there for my friends and family who don’t live in the North! I headed to Porto this morning and I’ve been getting everything ready together with my parents and gradma because, like every year, we will be having quite a full Christmas eve and lunch. A época Natalícia é sempre tão entusiasmante para mim que este ano decidi partilhar convosco algumas fotos que vou tirando ao longo dos dias! Durante estes três dias antes do Natal, raramente estou em casa porque chego ao Norte com a minha Mãe e andamos a correr para preparar tudo a tempo de dia 24! Mas queria mesmo muito postar todos os dias e apesar de ser muito difícil no início de Dezembro por causa da faculdade, agora que estou de férias não podia deixar de o fazer!

Passei a última noite em Lisboa com o Miguel a embrulhar alguns presentes que iam ficar lá para os meus amigos e família que não vivem cá no Norte! Vim para o Porto hoje de manhã e desde que cheguei eu, os meus pais e a minha avó ainda não paramos de preparar tudo para dia 24 e 25, porque, como todos os anos, vamos ter uma ceia e almoço de Natal muito movimentados. Blue Royal

Can’t even believe we’re two days away from Christmas Eve! I have been running around like crazy to get everything ready in time for the family party. But I found some time to share these pictures with you! :) I wore this look to a Christmas dinner at my place yesterday night! I’ve been loving this dress! Preppy stripes

This end of semester has just been crazy! It’s been impossible to focus either on the blog or on the Christmas spirit! Specially because one of my teachers decided to play Grinch and scheduled a test on the 20^th which means Christmas will start only on the 21^st! In the mean time, the sun has been shining crazily here, which for some reason has been making me really happy! You know what I mean it’s either sun or snow! Ain't nobody got time for rain!

Este fim de semestre tem sido de loucos! É impossível concentrar-me no blog ou no Natal! Especialmente porque uma das minhas Professoras decidiu ser o Grinch e marcou um teste para dia 20 o que significa que o Natal começa dia 21! Entretanto, tem estado super bom tempo, o que por algum motivo, me deixa super feliz! Vocês percebem! Ou sol ou neve! Ninguém gosta de chuva! Certo?

Winter sun

Like I said in the previous post Miguel and I spent part of last weekend at the beach and we did take some pictures mainly because we are addicted to our cameras and we always capture every moment but also because I LOVE how quiet and relaxing it is to go to the beach during winter and I wanted to capture that! I was in a very comfy, casual look and makeup and some of the pictures turned out so lovely that I couldn’t not share it with you! Hope you like it!

Como disse no post anterior eu e o Miguel passamos parte do fim-de-semana passado na praia e tiramos algumas fotos, primeiro porque somos completamente viciados nas nossas máquinas e gostamos de capturar todos os bocadinhos mas também porque eu ADORO o quão calma e relaxante é a praia no inverno! Estava com um look super casual e confortável e algumas fotos ficaram tão adoráveis que não podia deixar de partilhar convosco! Espero que gostem!

Late autumn

God, I love this season! I spent the weekend shopping around with Miguel and today we spent the afternoon having coffee by the fireplace while looking at the sea at a friend’s beach house. Lots of Christmas songs playing and I finally got into the whole Christmas spirit, also must share that I am now almost finishing my shopping for gifts. :)

Adoro esta altura do ano! Estive grande parte do fim-de-semana ás compras com o Miguel e hoje passamos a tarde na casa de praia de uns amigos, a beber café junto á lareira virados para o mar! Grey on Grey

How was your weekend? Mine has been quite busy. I’ve been so full of work lately that I haven’t really started to get into the happy Christmas mood! I mean I got my home all shiny in red and white but I’m not feeling that Pre-Christmas excitement! Are you? If you are please, please let me know your tricks! I guess I should start buying presents, there´s something about asking a sales lady to wrap the gift that makes it feel a lot more exciting! Don’t you think so? Well, apart from that, I’ve been crazy about this top ever since I got it from JollyChic last week! Don’t you just love it?

Como foi o vosso fim-de-semana? O meu foi uma correria! Tenho andado com tanto trabalho ultimamente que ainda nem me sinto com aquela felicidade extasiante do Natal! Fall Flowers

I’ve been loving to wear my fall clothes! Because I got sick, my summer to fall wardrobe change was pretty dramatic this year and I’ve been enjoying my warm sweaters, with deep colors and rich materials a lot.  This one became one of my favourites! I’m still crazy about burgundy this year and it really looks amazing with almost anything right? I just can’t get enough!

Tenho adorado vestir roupas de outono! Como fiquei doente, a mudança verão-outono no meu armário foi um bocadinho drástica este ano e tenho gostado imenso de usar as minhas camisolas quentinhas, com cores e matérias mais ricos. Esta tornou-se numa das minhas favoritas! Ainda estou obcecada com bordô este ano, fica lindo com tudo! Não me consigo fartar!

Fresh garden

 No, I didn’t lie! I did not go out of the house without collants ever again since that day! But I just found this pictures here, that I took something like two weeks ago , when I was so busy I didn’t even have time to post (well, I still am :/) and I felt like sharing them! Even if they come a little too late I love them and I had so much fun the day I took them! So it’s only fair to post them here, right?! Não, não menti! Desde aquele dia, não voltei a sair de casa sem uns bons collants! Definitely the last time I wore my bare legs this year! I wore this look last week because I really wanted to wear my Dahlia trench with my bare legs but I got the craziest cold ever! And spent the weekend drinking tea! Ahahah! It’s only funny now because I’m not sick anymore! Wasn’t finding it any laughable yesterday! :p

Definitivamente esta foi a ultima vez que andei sem collants este ano! Usei este look na semana passada porque queria mesmo experimentar o meu trench novo da Dahlia sem meias mas fiquei com uma constipação gigante e passei o fim-de-semana a chá! Ahahah! Shades of Green

Lately, here in Lisbon, we’ve been having winter, fall and even some summer sun! Nothing but crazy weather! So you’ll probably be seeing a real mix here in the blog!

I spent last weekend in the North of Portugal, where winter has already came to stay, and I got to wear a recent gift! I’ve been loving this coat! The color and texture are amazing! What do you think?

Ultimamente, aqui em Lisboa, temos tido Inverno, Outono e ás vezes até um ar de sol de Verão! O tempo verdadeiramente desregulado! Por isso, muito provavelmente vão ver uma grande variedade de estações aqui no blog!

Halloween night

Saturday mornings

If I wanted to define a tough week I would have to consider this last one as an example!! It was full of work, and rain, and thunderstorm, and not posting, and not having time for myself and it ended beautifully with an exam (yeah, just being ironic)!

Anyway, none of that matters now, since it’s Saturday evening and I am writing this post, while drinking my hot chocolate on my amazingly adorable pajamas! Now, that’s a way to end a week, right?

Se eu quisesse descrever uma semana difícil teria que usar a passada para exemplo! Foi cheia de trabalho, e chuva, e trovoada, e sem posts, e sem tempo para mim e acabou lindamente com um exame!

Bem, o que importa é que já é sábado e estou em frente ao computador a escrever este post enquanto bebo um chocolate quente com o meu pijama super quentinho e fofinho! Assim sim!

Blue skies

These pictures were taken last Friday and it looks like it was the last time I wore my summer clothes this year! This weekend it finally started to feel like fall and so I stayed home with Miguel and my family drinking hot chocolate and watching old James Bond movies!

It only took my Mum a little bit of rain to get all excited about Christmas and so we have lots of boxes full of new décor waiting for the 1^st on November to arrive! Can’t wait!

Dream cream

As you can see, it’s still summer in Portugal! I wore this look during the last weekend and today I took a jacket to university only to be carrying it around the whole day while everyone else was wearing nothing but shorts and t-shirts! Welcome to global warming!

Fashion Diaries

This weekend was insane! It was Lisbon Fashion Week and by this time Miguel and I are already full of work from our master’s degree, so fitting LFW in our schedule was hard (to say the least!). Anyway, I loved Miguel Vieira’s show (as usual!!!) I am in love with the kids! Most adorable LFW moment! And here are some of the pictures Miguel shoot last Saturday night! :) 

Este fim-de-semana foi de loucos! Foi a Moda Lisboa e por esta altura o Miguel e eu já estamos cheios de trabalho da faculdade, por isso encaixar a LFW na nossa agenda foi um desafio! Mas adorei o desfile do Miguel Vieira (como já é costume!!!) apaixonei-me pelos miúdos! Foi claramente o momento mais adorável da Moda Lisboa! Aqui ficam algumas das fotos tiradas pelo Miguel no passado Sábado à noite! :)

Ever since I got this beanie from Front Row Shop that I just can’t get enough of it! It’s a warm item but still has this very playful, summery color so it’s perfect for this transition time when you really don’t feel like wearing the dark colored clothing, especially here in Portugal where the sun keeps on shining as it did in August!

It’s been such an amazing weekend! I had last Friday off and so much time to hangout and relax! Can’t believe it’s already gonna be Monday tomorrow! Anyway, let’s be positive! I took many pictures to share and it looks like we’re off to some sunny days this week!

Little black dress

It’s finally starting to look like fall here. After the longest, most amazing summer I can remember, the weather suddenly decided to go nuts! It rained full on, non-stop, for all yesterday and today! I am still not ready to change my closet from summer to fall but I will, very likely, have to get used to that idea during this week otherwise I’ll look just as nuts as the weather itself!

Finalmente começa a parecer outono. Depois de um verão longuíssimo e maravilhoso, o tempo decidiu enlouquecer! Choveu loucamente ontem e hoje sem parar! Ainda não estou preparada para mudar o meu closet de verão para outono mas terei que me habituar à ideia durante a próxima semana ou então vou parecer tão louca como o tempo!

Sportive stripes

This summer Miguel and I spent a long time playing sports! I was riding my bike almost every day, we were playing lots of tennis and badminton and taking long walks at the beach! As a teenager, I’ve never been a sports lover but since I started dating Miguel, I discovered a new passion for that, so I had to find a way to capture my personal style into those more sporty looks! This dress is probably one of my favorites so far! With the white and navy stripes that you all know I love, and then the little neon details that have that sportswear feel to it! Hope you like it!

Este verão o Miguel e eu passamos imenso tempo a fazer desporto! Andava de bicicleta quase todos os dias, jogamos ténis, badminton, fizemos longos passeios pela praia! Enquanto adolescente, nunca fui muito amante de desporto mas desde que comecei a namorar com o Miguel descobri uma nova obsessão  por isso tive que arranjar forma de adaptar o meu estilo pessoal a looks mais desportivos! Este vestido foi uma das melhoras aquisições nesse sentido! Riscas azuis e brancas, como todos sabem que eu adoro e uns pequenos detalhes neon que acrescentam aquele toque de sportswear! Purple love

These are probably one of my favourite flats in my closet! I love, love, love them and strangely enough I don’t think I ever worn them on the blog! So Miguel decided to focus the shooting on them so they can have their special place here on the blog. I love the result!

Birthday girl

Can’t believe it’s my birthday again! This last year went by so fast. But we’re all used to that right? Time flies! This date also marks the beginning of new year for me! It’s always good to make the usual list of goals for the next year, and to think of all we achieved so far! That can be such a positive motivation! I have so many new goals and ideas, but you’ll hear about them very soon! I hope you all have an amazing day! I’m gonna go back to eating dinner now :)

Nem consigo acreditar que já é o meu aniversário outra vez! Este último ano passou tão rápido. Mas estamos todos habituados a isso certo? O tempo voa! Like I promised, here’s the detailed look I wore to VFNO! Different hair and makeup because I was so late that day, I didn’t manage to find time to take pictures of the look! Night out

 Here are some quick shots from Vogue’s fashion night out in Lisbon! I was struggling with weather I should post the outfit pictures together with these but I guess it would be too much of a gigantic post! So I’ll be posting the detailed look tomorrow :) Sorry, these are very few but I was staying in the north of Portugal and I came back to Lisbon for vfno, we arrived kind of late, we runned around downtown like crazy people and this was the best I got to see!

I think this summer I wore more yellow than in the past 10 years! For some reason I fell in love with way too many yellow items! Ahahah! Sorry, everyone! I have to admit, I just can’t get enough!

It’s been such a long time since my last post! I am genuinely sorry! But I promise to make it up to you! Very soon :) Here’s some of my pictures from one of the many vacation days. These pictures were taken at a family lunch to which I decided to wear this dress (again!!!) to feel casual but yet chic! You wouldn’t believe how comfortable this dress actually is! I am obcessed with it this summer, I just can’t stop wearing it! Please help me!

Late ride

I’ve been loving my bicycle this summer! It has become one of my favorite things to do! Going out after dinner for a late ride feels so fresh and relaxing, specially being in the best company ever, Miguel :))).

Summer state of mind

I wanted to do an inspirational post! Summer is at its best and I am feeling so positive that I couldn’t avoid composing a new board for you.

I’ve been spending most of my days at the beach and then having dinner with friends at the seaside! And so, because I have been wearing bikinis most of my time I honestly can’t think about anything other than beach wear! With this in mind I combined some of my favorite items for this summer! The result is lots of color, freshness and just pure happiness for a real summer state of mind.

Tenho passado a maior parte dos meus dias na praia e depois a jantar com amigos à beira mar! E por isso, porque tenho usado pouco mais do que bikinis, não consigo pensar em mais nada além de roupa para a praia! Com isto em mente, combinei alguns dos meus items favoritos para esta estação! O resultado é muita cor, frescura e pura felicidade para um estado de espírito verdadeiramente veranil.

Every year, when summer arrives, I get this crazy obsession with bright colors! For my everyday looks I almost always chose a colorful dress, and this year I’ve been loving this yellow one! Pairing it with some gorgeous accessory and I’m ready to go!

Light tropic

Finally I got some time to write a normal post for you! As you can see I am very much in my sportive self! I’ve been getting lots of sun, swimming like crazy, taking long walks at the beach and eating unusual amounts of watermelon! It just feels so good and I really hope you can feel all the positive energy through the pictures! Have an amazing weekend everyone!

Finalmente tive tempo para escrever um post normal! Dá para perceber que estou num espirito super desportivo! Tenho apanhado imensos banhos de sol, nadado imenso, feito grandes caminhadas na praia e comido quantidades absurdas de melancia! Time off

Sometimes you just need to step outside, get some air and remember who you are and who you want to be. I had that sentence on my computer screen for quite some years and this was a perfect time for that. After all the work from college and having to leave the blog behind for a little period of time, I was tired and lacking motivation and that’s why I had to take some time off, I deserved it and it honestly felt amazing to be apart from all the computers, ipads and wi-fi’s!  But, as you know, I can’t live without you and the blog and so here I am back on track!

Ás vezes precisamos de sair, respirar ar fresco e relembrarmo-nos de quem somos e de quem queremos ser. Tive esta frase durante imenso tempo no meu fundo de ecrã e estes dias que passaram foram verdadeiramente para isso. Depois de todo o trabalho com a faculdade e de ter que deixar o blog um bocadinho para trás, estava cansada e pouco motivada e foi por isso que tive que tirar algum tempo para mim, eu merecia e honestamente soube maravilhosamente bem estar longe dos computadores, ipads e wi-fi’s! Mas como sabem não consigo viver sem voces e sem o blog por aqui estou super de volta!

These days past two days have been amazing! It’s so sunny and hot, the weather has completely changed to welcome the holidays! I finally got to wear my Pomikaki bag that I have been loving lately! I wore it before to go shopping but I really can’t wait to wear it at the beach too, it will look amazing with a white dress and a good tan!

Estes últimos dois dias foram ótimos! Tem estado tanto calor e sol, o tempo mudou completamente para dar as boas vindas às férias! Finalmente consegui usar a minha mala da Pomikaki que ando a adorar! Usei-a para ir ás compras mas quero imenso usá-la na praia, vai ficar linda com um vestido branco e um bom bronze!

Summer evening

Still can’t believe how long ago I wrote my last post! I have been so insanely busy with college that I honestly couldn’t find an hour to prepare a post for you… But finally, I am on holidays! Miguel and I took some time off to relax during the weekend and now I am finally back to blogging! I seriously missed posting and I am already preparing many, many news for you! I have so many things to share! Stay tuned!

Nem acredito que estive tanto tempo sem postar! Tenho andado tão ocupada com a faculdade que honestamente não tive uma única hora livre para preparar um post… Mas finalmente estou de férias! Bright day

The weather has been so bad that the only way to make myself a little more summery is by wearing bright colors! Must find a way to bring summer back! Thumbs up for trying!

Red touch

I always get requests to do more relaxed looks that I wear to university, because like I said in previous posts, that was my main theme in the beginning of the blog. So, to answer those requests I love doing a school inspired look every now and then.

This is my go to, number one look to university! I love, love, love this headband for school and the jacket is super soft and comfortable. I pair them two with jeans and white t-shirt, with a simple white dress underneath the jacket or like this look here.

Recebo sempre pedidos para fazer mais conjuntos para usar na faculdade, porque (como disse em posts anteriores) essa era a minha inspiração principal no início do blog. Por isso, para responder a esses pedidos adoro, de vez em quando, fazer um look para mais descontraído.

Este é o meu conjunto número um para a universidade! Adoro esta bandolete e o casaco é tão confortável. Conjugo-os com umas calças de ganga e t-shirt branca, com um vestido branco simples por baixo do casaco ou como neste look aqui.

Refreshing nights

I started this post thinking no makeup, bare feet, road trip, summer style beachy, glowy natural and effortless, with a whole lot of glamour. But while I kept putting pictures together I started feeling like it was hugely impossible to resist the gorgeous, shiny, feminine and sparkly night outfits that us girls wear on summer nights out! I mean, let's face it! We're all craving for a good summer holiday and some relaxed nights out, right? 

So here it goes, three different looks for three different moods.

Comecei este post a pensar nada de maquilhagem, pés descalços, estilo veranil, praia, sem esforço sempre com imenso glamour. Mas enquanto conjugava as imagens tornou-se impossível resistir aos looks de noite super brilhantes e femininos que todas nós adoramos usar nas noites de Verão. A verdade é que o que todos precisamos é de umas boas férias cheias de noites divertidas, certo! 

Por isso, aqui estão eles, três looks diferentes para três estados de espírito diferentes.
