Tropical Jungle

One thing about spring is that it has been making me want to wear vibrant, exciting colors! It’s no surprise that my closet now looks like part of a Nicki Minaj video (as for colors not for style, of course!). This tropical pattern dress has been one of my latest additions and it’s been making me so happy! Totally makes me feel like I’m on a vacation!

Uma das características desta Primavera é que me tem feito ter imensa vontade de vestir cores fortes e vibrantes! Não é muito surpreendente que o meu closet pareça parte de um video da Nicki Minaj (em cores não estilo, obviamente!). Este vestido com padrão tropical é uma das minhas mais recentes adições e tem-me feito tão bem disposta! Quase que parece que estou de férias!

Blue jeans

Ever since I graduated, I was never very fond of jeans! I always felt like skirts or dresses were much more feminine and because I never really cared about being super comfortable (I’d rather look my absolute best), I felt like jeans didn’t really fit my personality and so I saved them just for those times when I needed to feel absolutely comfy, like for weekends in the countryside with friends.

But this year, I’ve been having so much work and so many errands to do that I really have been using my favorite pair of jeans a little too much and I must admit I’m loving it, specially when paired with some statement slippers and jewelry for a more classic, timeless look.

Desde o fim do secundário deixei de ser muito amiga de calças de ganga! Sempre vi os vestidos e as saias como peças muito mais femininas e como nunca me importei muito com estar confortável (preferia estar no meu melhor), sentia que as calças de ganga não combinavam muito com a minha personalidade e guardava-as para situações em que tinha mesmo de ser, como os fins-de-semana no campo com amigos.

Mas este ano, tenho tido tanto para fazer que tenho usado o meu par favorito em absoluto exagero e tenho que admitir que ando a adorar, especialmente quando combinado com slippers e acessórios divertidos para um estilo clássico e intemporal.

Purple circle

I told you there would be more, and here it is! My newest full skirt! Love this one and I think it will look amazing with some bright colors for spring/summer, specially light pinks and lilac tones!

After editing the post I actually feel like this look is a little too dark, but I am still struggling (a bit) with letting go of all the dark colors I was wearing during winter, just for the simple fact that I need to attend the beach to realize it is super hot and summery already! Anyone needs a vacation as much as I do?

Eu disse que ia haver mais, e aqui está! A minha mais recente saia rodada! Adoro esta cor e vai ficar giríssima com cores mais claras para a primavera/verão, principalmente com tons de rosa e lilás!

Depois de editar o post é que percebi que o conjunto está super escuro, mas ainda ando em luta para deixar os tons mais invernais, pelo simples facto de que preciso de ir para a praia para perceber que, na verdade, já está super quente e veranil! Mais alguém a precisar de férias?

They were all yellow

First I must apologize for how very pale I look in this yellow dress! But despite the amazing sun we’ve been having the last days, I still haven’t been anywhere near the beach because of all the work I must get done! Anyway, I can guarantee you’ll be seeing it on my tanned self, just because I’m so in love with this dress, it just gets me in that summer mood!

Primeiro tenho que pedir desculpa pelo quão branca fico neste vestido amarelo! Mas apesar do sol maravilhoso que tem estado, ainda nem me aproximei da praia! Tenho tanto para fazer! De qualquer forma, posso garantir que vão ver o vestido quando eu estiver super bronzeada, porque estou absolutamente apaixonada por ele, fico mesmo em modo verão!
