Bye honey

I’ve been trying to enjoy the last bits of summer even if now it is almost impossible to leave your house without tights. Well, I gave it a go last week and I’m guessing it was the last time my legs saw direct sunlight this year, at least in Paris.

Still, it was worth it! I always have the hardest time letting go of summer but once I really feel the cold I can only dream about warm sweaters and tights. So yes, now I am in full autumnal vibe and I already went shopping for sweaters!

Tenho andado a tentar aproveitar todos os bocadinhos de Verão mesmo se a esta altura já é quase impossível sair de casa sem collants. Bem, a semana passada tentei a proeza e parece-me que foi a ultima vez que as minhas pernas viram a luz do sol este ano, pelo menos em Paris.

Ainda assim, valeu completamente a pena! Custa-me sempre horrores meter na cabeça que o verão acabou, mas assim que sinto bem o frio só penso em camisolas quentinhas e collants. Por isso, sim, já estou em modo super outono!

I’ve been obsessing over this dress ever since I saw it for sale online, needless to say I was truly happy when I got it last week! Couldn’t resist wearing it out to dinner yesterday night! Hope you like it!

Heat On

Well, the first half of August is definitely gone and as September approaches that sad feeling of the end of summer settles. I read the other day, somewhere, that August is like the Sunday of summer, and it’s so true! It’s the most amazing part of the entire summer, maybe because you have already had the time to relax, forget about work and stress and to enjoy the small things but I think mostly august is amazing because you have that feeling that summer is about to end and that’s when you make the most of it, like when you know Monday is about to come but it’s still not here yet!

 So I say we make the best of it! Enjoy summer’s Sunday and wear as much white, and shorts, and colorful patterns as you can! I took the liberty of adding some suggestions  ☺ click read more for links and details!

Bom, a primeira metade de Agosto já passou e com Setembro a aproximar-se vem o triste sentimento de fim de verão. Li, algures, noutro dia que Agosto é o domingo do Verão e é tão verdade!  É a melhor parte de todo o Verão e talvez seja porque ja tivemos tempo de relaxar, esquecer o trabalho e o stress e de aproveitar as coisas boas mas honestamente acho que o que faz de Agosto um mês tao maravilhoso é a sensação de que o Verão esta a acabar, como quando sabemos que a segunda feira vai chegar mas que ainda falta só mais um bocadinho e é ai que queremos aproveitar ao máximo!

You probably already noticed but I’ve been loving midi skirts this summer. It’s funny how I used to think they were horrendous and now they’re all I want to wear! I never thought I’d have a wardrobe packed with full skirts in every possible color and pattern, but they’re just so easy to wear. They’re so feminine and classic but still so fun.

Provavelmente já repararam mas este Verão ando a adorar saias pelo joelho. É super engraçado como antigamente as achava horríveis e agora não quero outra coisa! Nunca pensei ter um guarda roupa cheio de saias rodadas em todas as cores e padrões possíveis mas são tão fáceis de usar. Tão femininas e clássicas mas ainda assim divertidas!
