Just editing these photos makes me so incredibly happy! If any of you live in Paris, you will know what I mean! It had been so long since I had last seen the sun that spending a week in the South of France seams like rediscovering the concept of Summer all over again!! Simply amazing!

Business Girls

I was always one with a considerable capacity to adapt. Every time there was change in my life I always managed to learn and update my way of living while keeping my personal style and personality.

Having this said, this past year I have experienced the same challenge that many girls with an extreme love for fashion overcome in their early twenties. I got a job, a great one really but one to which I can’t wear denim and a t-shirt (If you know what I mean).

Well, even if I was never the girl who wears denim and a t-shirt, this meant a lot of adapting and growing up. 

And the truth is I am loving it! So I thought it would be nice to start a series of business looks, as I imagine some of you are ongoing the same challenge.

Still, don’t worry! I promise that I’ll keep my edgier style on the weekends! :)

Sempre fui o estilo de pessoa com facilidade a adaptar-se. Cada vez que houve uma mudança na minha vida, consegui sempre aprender e moldar o meu estilo de vida mantendo sempre o meu estilo pessoal e a minha personalidade.

Tendo dito isto, tenho que admitir que este ultimo ano passei pelo desafio que muitas fashionistas ultrapassam na altura dos vinte anos. Arranjei um trabalho, um super trabalho mas para o qual não posso usar calças de ganga e t-shirt.

Bem, na verdade gangas e t-shirt nunca foi o meu estilo, mas mesmo assim todo este processo exigiu muita adaptação. E a verdade é que estou a adorar! Por isso, pensei que seria bem apropriado começar uma serie de conjuntos mais business, para todas aquelas que estão a viver a mesma experiência que eu.

Mas não se preocupem! Prometo que continuo a guardar o meu estilo mais proprio ao fim-de-semana.

About being back

I still can’t believe I am writing this. It has been so long since I last wrote a blog post that I had convinced myself that it was the end of it. Even if I didn’t want to end the blog, I felt like I had to accept that my priorities had changed and even more then priorities, I felt like my whole life had changed in such a way that there was no space left for this project that I had started during university.

Now, you know me, I never want to get into detail because I feel that this is a fashion blog and not a reality show of my life. I like to keep private things private but what I can’t resist sharing is that I am so incredibly happy!!!

But this blog is such a big part of myself that I really just can’t think of myself as not a blogger. So, after all this time without posting I decided that I really don’t want to live without you and the blog and so, I am relaunching the The Sparkling Lemon with a new template and more content.

For those of you who still visit my blog every now and then and who sent me emails motivating me to continue posting, thank you! You guys have my heart!

Não acredito que estou a escrever no blog. Passou tanto tempo desde o meu último post que me tinha convencido que era o fim do blog. Mesmo se eu nunca quis acabá-lo, parecia obvio que as minhas prioridades tinham mudado e mais do que só as minhas prioridades, parecia que a minha vida inteira tinha mudado tanto que não havia mais espaço para um projeto que tinha começado na faculdade.

Bom, vocês sabem que eu não gosto de entrar em detalhes, para mim isto é um blog de moda e não um reality show da minha vida. Gosto de manter o que é privado, privado mas não resisto a partilhar convosco o quão feliz estou!!!

Mas este blog é uma parte tão importante de mim que não consigo imaginar-me sem ele. Por isso, depois de todo este tempo sem postar decidi que não quero de todo perder o contacto que tenho com todos vocês por esta via. Decidi relança-lo com um novo template e mais conteúdo.

Para todos vocês que continuaram a visitar o blog de vez em quando e que me enviaram mensagens a motivar-me para voltar, obrigada! Adoro-vos infinitamente!

Roses are Rose

I hope you are all doing well! I’m kind of tired of always saying how long it has been since I last posted! So I’m not even going to talk about it! I gave one enormous step towards my future this past month and I couldn’t be happier! I can’t believe I am at such at stage of my life and I feel so grateful for all the opportunities I have had and the people I have met and still meet every day.

That being said, I must admit that everyone has been encouraging me to continue the blog, and I really want to as well! I feel that now that my life is at a more stable phase I should try and invest more of my love and dedication to this amazing place we created together.

Espero que estejam todos bem! Já estou cansada de me queixar do quanto tempo passou desde o meu ultimo post! Por isso nem vou tocar no assunto! No último mês, dei um enorme passo na direcção do meu futuro e não podia estar mais feliz! Não consigo acreditar que estou numa fase tão maravilhosa da minha vida e sinto-me tão grata por todas as oportunidades que tive e todas as pessoas que conheci.

Com isto dito, tenho que admitir que todas as pessoas na minha vida me têm encorajado a continuar o blog e eu também quero imenso! Agora que a minha vida está bem mais calma vou fazer o meu melhor para investir mais tempo neste fantástico espaço que criamos juntos.
